Fishing Reduces Stress

April 25th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Economy slumps, job stress, financial problems, health issues; life is full of ups and downs. It is more than we can take. Sometimes, time to clear your head is much needed. Fishing reduces stress in many ways.

Get back to nature. Fishing connects you with the great outdoors. After all you are a part of this world and all of the beauty it possesses. Feel the breeze and relax. Remind yourself that man invented the rat race but nature did not sign up. Chose a time and leave your electronics behind.

Pack a lunch. Take time to enjoy eating. It is one of the best things in life. Take the time to truly enjoy eating as opposed to scarfing down a meal to get back to work.

Watch the sunrise or sunset. There is nothing we see each day that is more impressive than a sunrise or sunset. Also, this is a really good time to fish.

It doesn’t matter if you catch a fish or not. Just be. Just be yourself. You will feel refreshed in no time.

Fishing reduces stress in many ways. Plan your next getaway right away.

Nothing soothes the nerves like sitting on or next to water and letting a line drift. Just takes away all the daily “stuff” and gets me back in touch with “real life”!

That’s the way it should be all the time. Darn work. Thanks for the positive comment!
