Fishing Santa Monica Pier in California

September 12th, 2008 · 3 Comments

Santa Monica Pier is a fun place to spend the day. The parking is $10.00 for all day, as of this post, and well worth it. Trust me; you can’t walk that far. The pier is about 99 years old and offers dining, amusement park fun, including carnival type rides, fishing and many tradesmen selling their stuff. Want your picture on a grain of rice? It’s here.

During the hazing California mornings cut sardines and calamari are used to catch many small fish. As the sun burst through the clouds, I was off to the beach. I plan to make a night trip here to see what can be caught during some serious fishing time. I’ll leave you with one more picture.
